Wazzzzup ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Wazzzzup mobile application and the website wazzzzup.com. We help you stay connected with the people who matter most by learning your daily rhythms and nudging you to reach out at the right moment.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using our app or website, you agree to these practices.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, as well as data generated through your use of the app.

  • Account information — your name, email address, and phone number when you register
  • Contacts — with your permission, the names and numbers of people you choose to stay in touch with
  • Usage patterns — times of day you are active, call history within the app, and interaction frequency, used solely to determine optimal nudge timing
  • Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for debugging and compatibility
  • Communications preferences — your opt-in choices for SMS notifications, including the date and method of consent

SMS messaging & your consent

Wazzzzup may send you text messages (SMS) to remind you to reach out to your contacts, confirm account activity, or provide support. Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences.

Opting in is always your choice. You will only receive SMS messages from Wazzzzup if you explicitly check the opt-in box during account setup or in your app settings. Opting in is never required to use Wazzzzup.

You can opt out at any time by:

  • Texting STOP to any message you receive from us — you will be immediately unsubscribed
  • Turning off SMS notifications in your Wazzzzup app settings
  • Emailing us at hello@wazzzzup.com

For help at any time, text HELP to any message we send. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

We will never sell, share, or transfer your mobile number or SMS opt-in information to any third party, affiliate, or lead generator for marketing or promotional purposes — ever.

How we use your information

  • To send SMS reminders, if you have opted in
  • To authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To fix bugs and improve app performance
